I frequently teach tailored creative writing workshops to a broad range of ages and abilities – most recently at Cambridge University for the National Academy of Writing and in schools and universities in Korea by invitation from the British Council. I’ve also worked with the Norwich Writers’ Centre, Arvon Foundation and Edinburgh International Book Festival on retreats, residencies and mentoring programmes.
I founded and run the WoMentoring Project which offers free mentoring to emerging female writers by professional literary women.

I have just heard a section from your book Lowborn on Women’s Hour and it knocked me for six. Such horror and insight on a Friday morning.WOW I particularly enjoyed hearing Ian Gordon’s name from Seagull Theatre as I was a family friend and another Drama teacher in the area. The power of drama and ‘release’ subjects are without doubt an important part of every persons life. Ian Gordon was such an influential drama advocate , fighting against the showy West end and focusing on the gritty real life of everyone.
Thank you for the honesty in your book . I am going to order one now,
